throwback thursdays (vol. 8): in remembrance

It’s been a very long time since I posted anything about 9/11. This year, September 11 is actually on a Thursday, so it seems almost like fate that I link you to the last September 11 post that I did, even though I didn’t originally post it on the relevant day. This is a tough day. I don’t think that it gets any easier for those of us that had friends or relatives in the Towers, or even those like me that only witnessed it on television. It was a day we should all remember, if only for those that were lost. So, with that, I give you today’s Throwback Thursday post.

The building started coming down and I watched people jumping out of the windows, anxiously searching the people coming out for my friends. When I gasped myself awake, Darryl Worley’s “Have You Forgotten” was running through my head. If you’ve never heard the song before, it’s about 9/11. Continue to today’s Throwback Thursday post…
