the incredible shrinking woman: week six
Well, ladies and gentlemen.
Last week we communally mourned the passing of my beloved pedometer. However…time heals all wounds, and the best way to get over something…
Is to buy a new pedometer.
That’s right, folks. I have invested another 24.99 in a brand new, all the bells and whistles, complete with it’s own red leather case, I give you…
The Ped-o-tron 4000.
This thing counts everything every which way from Sunday. Calories lost, miles walked, miles per hour…this thing is a MONSTER!
I was really good this weekend though, I walked to Starbucks. I went in a big loop where I go up hills both ways. In my bare feet. In the snow. Seriously, dudes.
I have not yet stepped up to the measuring tape yet, my friends. It’s the start of week six, and it’s supposed to be the week I measure, but darnit. I’ve been lazy all day, and I totally gorged on all kinds of italian food over the weekend (thank you Puget Sound Pizza) and you know? I think I’m going to have to wait till tomorrow.
In other news: down the stairs twice, up once, plus walking everywhere I could today is only 4,000 steps. Really, I have no idea how I’m supposed to get in 10,000 steps.
It’s a lost cause.
