I have exciting news to share on week eighteen, peeps!

No, it’s not that I met my 8/15 goal, albeit 10 days late (although I did!!). Read on!

Pounds lost: 36.4

% to super goal: 29%

DOING THE DAMN THING!

Okay so my exciting news!

As you may have read in previous posts, I’ve been on the Noom program since April 28, 2019. Since then I’ve lost 36 pounds (and counting). I believe in this program so much that I applied for and became a Noom affiliate!

What does this mean?

It means that if you use the links for Noom on my site and start your own Noom journey, I will get a commission. This comes at no extra cost to you.

This is exciting for me for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I LOVE Noom. Their content is aligned with my own philosophies, it’s easy, and it works. Secondly, I am trying to see if I can turn blogging into an actual source of income without doing advertising all over my site. It’s like a wonderful marriage of two AWESOME THINGS!

I’m going to do a Noom review on my Coffee, Grit, and Inspiration blog next week. If you haven’t checked out CGInspo yet, I encourage you to do so, and keep an eye out for my official review!

Other exciting news!

The other exciting news I have is that I finally, finally met my 8/15 goal…though ten days late. Just more reinforcement for making my goal more realistic and achievable. As you know from last week, I changed my pace a little, and here are my new milestones:

Goal DateTarget Total Loss
6/15/19 – Met!18
8/15/19 – Met Late!36
11/15/1954
2/15/2072
5/15/2090
8/15/20108
11/15/20126

I had originally hoped to be at my target date by our wedding anniversary (6/26), which would have been cool, but I just don’t think it would have been doable.

August was hard, peeps. Really, really, hard. While I know this is a hard thing I’m doing, I still want to be realistic about where I can be reasonably.

So there you have it! 2N, Noom Affiliate and Two-Time-Sort-Of-Goal-Achiever!

Go me!
