Week 22! It’s a little late because I spent the weekend with my mom, sister, mother-in-law and sister-in-law doing scrapbooking! I didn’t even bring my scale so I’m using my weight from Friday morning! Which leads me to…

Pounds lost: 40.5

% to super goal: 32%

This weekend was significant because I took some pics of my sister-in-law, mother-in-law, and me which I can compare to last year’s pictures to really see a difference. We are all three on Noom, and together we’ve lost over almost 150 lbs (149, to be exact!)!

The top photo here is us from this weekend, and the bottom two are from this same time last year. Progress!

149 pounds lost and counting!

This week I’m still working on drinking enough water and getting enough sleep. It’s still something I struggle with, partly because over the last couple of weeks I’ve been traveling and having trouble remembering to carry water with me, and also because during the week I have a hard time going to bed early. So that’s still what I’m focusing on.

Something new I started in the last week is yoga! Not only do I think it helps with my exercise and calorie burning, but it helps my back feel better and helps keep my muscles loose and feeling better. I can’t do all the poses yet, but I do what I can and I keep seeing little improvements.

When I say I can’t do the poses, I really mean that sometimes I feel like a beached whale trying to contort itself into positions nature never intended. However, I will say that there are some poses I feel sure I shouldn’t even try – but then I do, and maybe I can’t do it all the way. But each time I try, I get a little closer. So, progress, right? Progress, not perfection!

I’ve been doing a yoga routine from Sara Beth Yoga which is identified as a morning routine but I’m doing it any time of day.

I also found Fightmaster Yoga and Boho Beautiful. Fightmaster Yoga has a great beginners video and some specifically for plus size and weight loss. Boho Beautiful is my #yogagoals channel – I am pretty sure it will be years, if ever, before I can do most of her routines.

Anyway, hope you found something you like! Are there other yoga channels you’ve found helpful? If so, share in comments!
