…because then I have to go buy new ones.

On a side note, is anyone surprised that I only just today got my Christmas tree? Yeah, me either.

So…just before my birthday, this happened.

Which was, to say the least, disappointing. If not heartbreaking.

Especially because I’ve always tried to be so careful with my phones. Witness what my coworkers call my Fisher Price cell phone:

They call it that, of course, because it’s brightly colored and…enormous. The belt clip doesn’t help. The problem is that I tried to go all rebellious and use a smaller, less protective case. Quite shortly after I did that…I dropped it.

And it shattered.

Which really, really sucked and that’s what I get for taking it out of its Fisher Price case.

So, I had to go out and get this:

Which looks pretty much the same as the one I broke…except it’s like, twice as big.

Of course, it’s even bigger with my replacement Fisher Price case which I will now never ever remove:
